Family photography
I aim to capture beautiful images of your family in a relaxed and fun way. Children need the space to be just as they are without pressure to perform. A very popular option for families is to include several poses of the whole family, some with mum and children, some with dad and children, some of each individual child and the siblings together. There is lots of room for candid photography between the more formal shots. This takes around 1 -2 hours, usually depending on how the youngest members of your family are managing (they can surprisingly be full of beans and its mum and dad that are worn out!)
Post-production work on family photographs takes around 14 days after your photography session.. This is your opportunity to have a good look at the beautiful results and make some decisions about what sort of prints or products you would like for your family. This can be quite a task, and even more tricky with a little one needing your attention. If possible, it may be worth having your children cared for during this last meeting. The viewing can take place at your home. Delivery of goods takes 14-21 days.

Pregnancy photography
I have taken some beautiful photographs of women just weeks before they are due to have their baby. This is a gorgeous momento of a fleeting time for mothers. The family home is a great place for these types of photo shoots to take place. I always recommend the mother has her makeup and hair taken care of by a professional before the photo shoot so she feels super confident in how she looks. I have a great makeup artist I regularly use, she does a wonderful job. The photography session generally lasts and hour and a half.
Taking time to discuss ideas for the photography session prior to booking is of enormous value. I then book a suitable time to do the photography shoot. For our third meeting, you get to see the beautiful images and make your decisions about your prints and products.

Newborn photography
Newborn babies are a treasure to their parents and our society. Any new parent will be aware of the public attention they receive when people get to glimpse at their precious bundle. To photograph these fragile little people is one of the joys of my work.
To capture the true “newborn” look, I feel the photography needs to take place within 7-21 days of birth. Visiting the home is the most obvious choice for the whole family. Parents need to have a long sleeved black top each and black pants. Grandparents and siblings can be part of these photos, too.
It is important to meet initially to discuss what type of photographs you desire and devise a plan to achieve this. I then book a time and date, I find mornings, 9.30, work best. My post-production time takes 14 days and I will then visit your family at your home for a viewing of the beautiful photographs. We can discuss the options that best suit you for purchasing. Babies, toddlers and children photography
There is such a joy in taking gorgeous photos of children. They are fun, spontaneous, fast and unpredictable! These photo shoots take around one and a half hours and can be done in the family home or at a favourite family location. Candid photography mixed with some classic and formal poses is very popular for families.
It is important to discuss what outcomes you were wanting from your photography shoot. This can seem daunting, with discussion ideas will flow and we can work out a plan to achieve your goals. I personally love to come up with ideas for children’s photography, ideas that can really capture their personality and bring out their character!
The photography shoot takes 1-2 hours depending on how your little one/ones are managing. I then take 14 days to do my post-production work on the images. Playschool and Preschool photography
I have a 2009/10 financial year package available for playschools and preschools. I aim to spend at least 10 mins with each child, weather permitting, I always do the majority of the photography outdoors. I dress up as a fairy with wings and long stripey socks. Wedding photography
This is a special day you will reflect upon for the rest of your life. For many, this is the beginnings of family life. This is a day of bravely announcing your love for your partner through all that may come, allowing your family and loved ones to witness this exchanging of vows. This is the day you add your own story to your family tree.
A wedding is revered by all cultures as a significant day, symbolic of what good may come. I have been married for 6 years now and I treasure my wedding photographs. I was married in a beautiful old church in country South Australia that had a strong link to my husbands’ family. It was a simple affair but people travelled from all over Australia to witness this occasions. Such is the joy of weddings.
